NEED FOR SPEED UNBOUND

THE PROJECT

After completing my second year of studies at the University at Westminster for the course Computer Games Development, I had the opportunity to join the studio of Criterion - Electronic Arts and work as a Game Designer Intern in July 2022.

I had the privilege of working with Electronic Arts as a game designer on the Need For Speed Unbound title. Working for EA gave me access to top-of-the-line resources, such as advanced game engines and cutting-edge technology. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

have worked directly inside the Design Department, along with the Studio Design Director, Gary Paterson,  Campaign Lead Senior Designer Gavin Yeo, and Experienced Game Designer/Mentor Matthew Alford-Naidu.

As a game designer intern, I was in charge of some of the new design features for Need For Speed Unbound, in particular, game systems design (player widget and routing system) and balancing the economy of the game Campaign (Story).  I worked closely with other members of the development team, including artists, programmers, and writers, to ensure that the final product met the high standards of the company.
